Finding My Path

My work is rooted in portraiture. Years of photographing graduation portraits for friends and family shaped how I work with people. But, from my very first surprise engagement session, showcased here first, I knew I wanted to focus on capturing the love and joy that surround engagements and marriage.

Graduate Portraits

Graduation sessions gave me the space to study form, posing, and framing in a low-stakes environments. Working with natural light and real people, I learned how subtle adjustments could change the way an image feels, how bodies move, how light shapes form, and how framing influences mood. These are still some of my favorite sessions to do!

Engagement Sessions

Engagement sessions bring the work into motion. With the fundamentals in place, I was able to step back, guiding when needed, observing when not, and focus on the quiet interactions that define a relationship. These sessions are less about posing and more about presence, allowing moments to unfold naturally while I respond to what’s already there.

Weddings

Weddings bring everything together. Portraiture, anticipation, and presence all converge over the course of a day. The work becomes less about individual moments and more about continuity, paying attention, responding calmly, and allowing the story to unfold without interruption. The newest chapter in my photography.
